To view the Quicktime Virtual Reality files you will need the Apple Quicktime plugin for Mac or PC and/or Netscape or Explorer. Download Quicktime for free at Apple - Products - QuickTime for MAC or PC.

Click on any of the links below and you will be able to see most of the exhibits as if you were visiting SPACEWORLD2000. Please note that depending on your connection and your type of modem download of QTVR files may take some time.
Most QTVR movies are linked to other scenes or pictures. Check the picture as you scroll. If a small globe/finger icon appears this indicates a link to another scene or picture. Use your "back" button" on your browser to return to the previous page. As you enter new scenes check for new links. That way you should be able to "wander" from scene to scene and explore the whole exhibition.

The full QTVR Scene; This scene contains all 29 Quicktime VR scenes in one single file. To access all scenes simply look for the finger symbol that appears as you scroll across the link of another scene. To navigate back and forth from scenes use the tools available in the Quicktime reader or follow the tool's instructions by reading the help index of the file.

Discover one of the most spectacular SPACEWORLD2000 displays with this 360° panoramic view of the Mars area. Apart from the many links that will lead you to other scenes and pictures, follow the Gallery between the Saturn and Mars 2 landscapes and click on the links that turn up to reach for other exhibits and areas.

See the large 30 square meter Mars landscape and astronaut. This exhibit also features "Mars rocks" and a 9 meter panoramic painting by Erik Viktor (B).

The visitor also discovers a 3D Saturn Landscape featuring a model of the moon Mimas and a panoramic painting of Saturn.

Just across Saturn one will see a spectacular Mars landscape featuring the Canyon Valles Marineris, a model of a 6 wheeled all-terrain vehicle, a dinosaur fossil (yes!), and a panoramic painting showing the landing of a cargo vehicle. See below for more details.

This 9 square meters 3D landscape (see also above) features a model of the Valles Marineris Canyon, a model of a 6 wheeled manned all terrain vehicle, and a spectacular painting of the same canyon with a landing cargo spaceship from Earth.

This new exhibit features 5 black panels each with a Martian fossil imagined by Erik Viktor. Discover these - sometimes unusual  - forms of life that might have lived on the surface of the red planet whilst exploring past and present conditions on this "rusty" planet. This exhibit will also allow you to discover the very special features of the red planet and its close resemblance with our own planet.

5 Black panels featuring 10 new digital paintings by Erik Viktor showing that tiny spatial world inside us. See worlds colliding, all out wars, floating bodies and futuristic surgical robots. Apart from showing another unseen world, Erik Viktors' art also shows in a simple way that Space is NOT only something happening above our heads but that we are part of it and that there is no real border between the two worlds.

These panels feature various objects that went into space as well as other collectibles such as a painting by Erik Viktor that spent 3 months aboard space station MIR, stamps designed and signed by Cosmonaut General Alexei Leonov and Artist Andrei Sokolov, thermal blankets from the reusable satellite Eureka that flew aboard the Shuttle,.... just to name a few.

A new and beautiful exclusive 3d panoramic view of another part of the exhibition. From left to right; view the new 3D landscape featuring the European Space Agency's' "Rosetta" cometary probe. Includes a 3D landscape, a scale model of the lander, a panoramic painting and 6 digital paintings by Erik Viktor illustrating the mission.

Enter the Space tunnel and....  fly into space! This simple but very attractive exhibit simulates that "Space" above us as if one were there!

A tiny, fragile, lonely space station floats above a magnificent spinning blue planet.... surrounded by the symphonic music produced by composer Mark Mercury.

The space station module mockup, when combined to the Space tunnel above, is the closest experience one can get without actually flying into space...!

This module contains video viewing equipment and a powerful multimedia computer.

"Jimmy" and his UFO. Jimmy is one of the older Spaceworld participants having been with the project since it was started as a prototype in 1991. Jimmy talks about us humans and about the way were are wasting our planet....
